UPPER HOUSING: Die-cast aluminum, or injection molded polyester
composite resin, or natural cast bronze. Stainless steel screws in roof for easy
top access for relamping.
LOWER HOUSING: Die-cast aluminum, or single
piece compression molded reinforced polyester composite housing, or natural cast
bronze.
LENS: Borosilicate glass refractor lens, fully gasketed top and
bottom.
GASKET: Molded silicone gasket seals glass, top and bottom, and
prevents moisture intrusion into the fixture.
FINISH: Durable powdercoat
finish electrostatically applied and bonded by heat fusion thermosetting, to die
cast aluminum. Composite beacon HID and fluorescent housing are color
impregnated bronze. Cast bronze is natural bronze finish.
SOCKET:
Incandescent: medium base. Fluorescent: GX23-2 base. HID: medium
base.
ELECTRICAL: Fluorescent uses 120V core and coil NPF ballast, rated
at 0ºC starting temp. Other lamp options and wattages are available. Consult
factory for additional fluorescent, or HID options.
MOUNTING: Beacons are
partially recessed. Potting compound must be used to seal the conduit wire
entry.
